COMPLETE DENTURES

A complete denture (also known as a full denture, false teeth or plate) is a removable appliance used when all teeth within a jaw have been lost and need to be prosthetically replaced.
Three basic kinds of complete dentures
1)Conventional Dentures
They are full removable denture that is made and placed after the remianing teeth have been removed and tissues have healed
2)Immediate Dentures
Immediate dentures are placed directly after teeth extraction. Your dentist will take measurements and models of your teeth beforehand so the dentures are ready for you to wear while your jaw is healing.
3)Implant Supported Denture
Implant Supported dentures is a type of Overdenture that is supported and attached to implants.A regular denture rests on the gums and is not supported by implants.An implant supported denture is used when a person doesnt have any teeth in the jaw,but has enough bone in the jaw to support implants.
